Tonight! At 9:00! Central! Inspired Unreality Open Game Chat.

After having a weekend of family gaming online we are going to discuss playing online as a way of staying in touch with your family. Kind of on the Family Game theme we were going to discuss last week but instead we discussed other stuff.

And that's fine. Bring your own topic. All gaming is on topic.

Inspired Unreality is held every Monday in the gamerplus chatrooms at Tenkar's Tavern on Discord. If you haven't been to Tenkar's Tavern we have an invite for you here.

We played Virtual Dirty Santa! Here's a post with all of our virtual gifts.

Sound and I have been going on a bit about Birkenstock. Must be somewhere near Milyagon because we get all the same Player Characters showing up both places.

I like this Hiroshi Yoshida artwork. All Public Domain. Not specifically fantasy but they could be used in oriental fantasy settings.

And I dug out my Two Geeks Video. It's a hoot. And less than a minute long. I like the way the play button makes me look like a spaceman.

Spread the word. Share with your friends.

The Related To Geeks Podcast is tonight at 9:00 PM Central. We will be discussing Favorite House Rules, house rules we use for board games and RPG's that we feel make them better. Go faster, run smoother, add interest, more fun!

FollowMeAndDie just released his latest PDF on DriveThruRPG, Roads & Road Encounters. He says "Roads & Road Encounters is an overview of information about the road, what is near, and fellow travelers. This can be used on the fly at the table or as part of adventure preparation."

FollowMeAndDie also posted information about a card game he is working on.

Carl Heyl posts "I'm going to start an old school B/X game at the FLGS this Saturday."

That's in Central Arkansas for those interested.

In two weeks on March 16 The Related To Geeks Book Club will be discussing Neil Gaiman's classic story, "The Ocean at the End of the Lane". This is not available for free download but it is available on Overdrive and at libraries and booksellers everywhere.

Megan and I have discussed possible books for our next three titles. You can make your suggestions here.

Gamer+ News December 2, 2019

Tonight is the Related To Geeks Podcast on Inspired Unreality. Starts at 9:00 pm Central in the gamerplus chatrooms at Tenkar's Tavern on Discord.

Last month we discussed Fantasy and SF Reads and we ran late and still had trouble quitting. And next month we are starting our first spinoff, The Related To Geeks Book Club. And, yes, we are going to be reading Fantasy and SF. Here's the group.

And there's a game Thursday, December 5, on If You Play You Win. RobboG will be running the game on his own system, Universe Unleashed. I played in the last one and it was great. The game will start at 7:00 pm Eastern. Let us know if you want to play or just come if you can and jump in. We have pregens.

ZDL has another Fringe Review. This time it's Psi World. She says, "The absolute monarchs of the '80s vibe were Fantasy Games Unlimited. There was not a crazy concept they weren't willing to champion and publish. ... And in the middle of all this is the subject of today's Fringe Review: Psi World." Read it all.

FollowMeAndDie has published a new supplement, "Caves, Caverns & Underground Encounters", on DriveThruRPG. I read it and since it's Pay What You Want you can too.

Please share these links with your friends on your blog, website, or social network account. There's something of interest for any gamer at Gamer+.

And we really are a social network with everyone wishing everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. So since it's already December I'll just say I hope you had as good a Thanksgiving as I did.

Stay in touch,
Hairy Larry
